Social Science Unit 2: WIND AND RAIN

Hi, how are you doing? We go back to Social Science!

Volvemos a Sociales y, en esta nueva unidad estudiamos el TIEMPO ATMOSFÉRICO.
Vemos en primer lugar qué es la atmósfera ATMOSPHERE y dónde está. A continuación nos introducimos en los tres principales componentes del tiempo: el viento WIND, las precipitaciones PRECIPITACIONS y la temperatura TEMPERATURE.

 Además se estudian diferentes instrumentos para medir   cada uno de estos elementos del tiempo WEATHER  INSTRUMENTS: termómetro THERMOMETER, pluviómetro RAIN GAUGE y anemómetro ANEMOMETER.

Por otro lado aprendemos a interpretar la predicción del tiempo WEATHER FORECAST  y finalmente identificaremos lugares del planeta donde hace un tiempo extremo EXTREME WEATHER como en Groenlandia GREENLAND, el desierto del Sáhara SAHARA DESERT o en la selva amazónica AMAZON RAINFOREST.
